This study aims to uncover the fundamental identity of Jesus as presented by the evangelist Mark. The method used in this study is the biblical-narrative approach, tracing how the author of the Gospel of Mark introduces Jesus as the Christ and the Son of God within the progressive dynamic of revelation through events, dialogues, and the testimonies of various characters based on the narrative data of the Gospel text. This study hypothesizes that the structure and narrative flow of Mark reveal a theological journey from a vague understanding to the full acknowledgment of Jesus as the Son of God in His suffering and death on the cross. The findings of this analysis show that there are three main titles of Jesus in the Gospel of Mark: Christ, the Son of God, and the Son of Man, all of which complement each other in portraying the mystery of His identity and salvific mission.
